Despite building of a tower, and numerous WW2 German bunker complexes, long rows are visible, which descend down the hill to the Le Trepied Dolmen site (which once reportedly had 4 dolmens). The path is called “The Witches Path” in local folklore, as it was reported during the witch trials in the Reformation period that this was the route taken to the Friday night Sabbats (with the Devil) on the Trepied.
